Government Agencies

Home   >   PLAYERS   >   Government Agencies

Regulatory agencies are permanent or semi-permanent entities within the interconnected structures and processes of the government. A regulatory agency is responsible for the oversight and administration of laws and regulations in a specific regulated sector of the government. These agencies are the working bureaucracy within the executive branch of government, which also perform an enforcement and advisory role.

There are numerous regulatory agencies involved in fish and wildlife conservation and management that coordinate their efforts across states and territories. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is the federal government agency that works in partnership with many state fish and game departments, organizations and individuals.  A list of natural resources agencies for states, provinces, and territories can be found here.

Hunt for Truth will expose regulatory agencies using with “faulty science” and biased information critical of lead ammunition in order to facilitate an open and transparent debate on the use of traditional ammunition in hunting and recreational shooting sports. Frequently check the Expose section for investigative reporting on the misuse of science and information, and the real truth in the debate on lead ammunition.
